Theatrical Day Tours in Israel
Israel Tours in the cities – Smell the aroma of paraffin stove cooking, feel the grains of sand under your feet, perspire under the Mediterranean sun, and listen to the whispers of lovers in the dark.
Connect with a developing culture, with the people who used to live here. Combine the old with the new.
With the help of the theater, music and your imagination, we will experience another reality for a few hours.
We will follow in the footsteps of authors and poets through their lives and stories. Writers such as Shai Agnon (Nobel Prize for Literature), Amos Oz, David Grossman, Nahum Gutman, Yitzak Sadeh, as well as a host of other wonderful writers and artists. Israel maybe a small country, but it is one big story, isn’t it?
Experience The Jewish History
Tel Aviv Tours Examples:
Nahum Gutman – Walking presentation in Neve-Tzedek
We arrive by boat, over the stormy waves, at Jaffa port. From there, through the golden sands, we enter one of the classrooms in the School for Girls. We get to know the writers in the neighborhood, Brenner, Rabinovich (“A.S.R.”), Devora Baron, and S. Ben-Zion. We next take a peek into Agnon’s room, daffodils all around. We finally sit on grandmother’s stool, and listen to her stories.
A trip through the tunnel of time – 100 years back from the present.
Bohemia in Tel Aviv
The city that rose from the sand. Artists and others came here to create a new language, to combine what they brought from “over there” with the new reality. Painters (Rubin), architects (Levy, Kaufman), poets (Shlonsky, Alterman, and Goldberg), dancers (Agadati), authors (Bialik) and others will tell their story along the route. Through existing and historic cafes, the Mugrabi movie house, then to Bialik’s House and Rubin’s House, we will enjoy the atmosphere of the 20s and 30s in young Tel Aviv.
